Sunday 25 February 2007 @ 12:25 pm

One of the most frequently asked questions of all time is, “How do I make money on the Internet”?

If you have been trying to make money on the Internet for even a short while, you have undoubtedly heard quite a few names being thrown about. It seems as if everyone sees themselves as an expert and everyone who is anyone knows everyone else who is someone. It is like a marketing guru clique. And they make you think that if you do not know somebody, you will always be a nobody.

You have probably encountered product launches, audio and video streaming, Continue Reading »

Targeted Traffic to Your Website!

Saturday 24 February 2007 @ 12:38 am

Squidoo Everyone who has a website knows that to have sales you must have traffic, but not just any traffic it has to be Targeted Traffic.

What is Targeted Traffic? It is simply visitors to your website that are interested in what your website is about. For example, people interested in buying jewellery will find jewellery websites interesting.

How do I get targeted traffic I hear you ask? Well, how about this for a new angle:

Social Networking on Squidoo.

If you’re not using Squidoo as part of your marketing plan, you’re missing out on a very easy way to make money. A Squidoo page is a somewhat blended idea. Not exactly a blog, but not quite a website either. Each page you create is called a lens, and you can make unlimited numbers of lenses, on any topic you desire. It’s extremely user-friendly and you can realistically set up a lens in a matter of minutes.

While a Squidoo lens could benefit nearly any online business, it’s becoming increasingly popular among online marketers. They’re flocking to Squidoo for several reasons.

Besides the simplistic use and rapid set-up, they love the fact Squidoo offers the opportunity for unlimited lens making at no cost. They also realize the value of being able to place an opt-in box and contact information on their lens, making it easy to build a list of subscribers.

A Squidoo lens is an excellent place to display your products and affiliate products. Each product can have its own individual lens. Pictures can be uploaded with a click of the mouse, a perfect way to display the cover graphics alongside a synopsis of the eBook. Add your Squidoo lens address to your email or forum signature. Anyone who sees it can click on the link and be transported directly to your domain.

Using the easy to insert modules, each lens can be monetized in several different ways in addition to advertising your own product or service. Related products can be offered, affiliate links added, even popular items from eBay and Amazon can contribute to your income. With so many module choices and the broad freedom of arrangement allowed, the possibilities seem virtually endless.

Once your Squidoo lens is published, you’re able to join any number of Squidoo groups. They even have some just for marketers! We all know the best advertising is word of mouth, and the power of social networking can’t be stressed enough. Being a part of the Squidoo Groups offers both benefits to help springboard your online career.

With so many ways Squidoo can help establish yourself or your product as a brand in the marketplace, it’s a no-brainer that you should be taking advantage of all the benefits that being a lensmaster offers. Then the next time anyone asks, “Do you Squidoo?”, your enthusiastic response will be “Do I Squidoo? You bet I do! And you should too!”

For a Superb eBook that will teach you exactly how, I can thouroughly recommend this one. I’ve just purchased it myself and is excellent value.

5 Tips on Using Private Label Content

Saturday 24 February 2007 @ 12:07 am

Private Label Content is becoming increasingly popular as people join the rush to fill their websites with high-quality information. Admittedly, you can have articles written by freelance writers at sites like Elance or Rentacoder, but it can get expensive. For those who are not yet generating a high income through AdSense or affiliate sales, Private Label Content (PLC) provides a welcome alternative.

=== What is Private Label Content? ===

PLC generally refers to articles, e-books and manuals that are free for subscribers to use as they wish. There are a few restrictions, however: you cannot claim copyright to PLC, or submit it to article sites, unless you change the content significantly. (Interpret ’significantly’ as ‘unrecognizable as the original article’.) The cost of membership varies, but typically ranges from around $24 to $67 a month. For this you might receive anywhere from 150 to 300 articles per month. Some sites also offer graphics (e-book covers and site header graphics) and even ready-made sales letters.

To use PLC to the best advantage, you need to be aware of a few things. Continue Reading »

Forum For Free Advertising

Monday 19 February 2007 @ 10:48 pm

For those of you that are familiar with forums, here’s a great new forum that offers Free advertising.

Now I know there are a lot of great forums out there (I use a few myself) but this one is a bit different. You can earn money just by advertising your refferal link. You can still join for free, but there is also a terrific upgrade option which only lasts for the next few days. Feb 26th.

It’s called Your Advertising Forum and it’s brand new so you are amongst the very first to hear about it. I upgraded straight away as I can see the benefits this will have in the long term. Not only can you place ads, but as an upgraded member these can be in html. You also get to place 6 ads per day as opposed to 1 every 3 days as a free member.

The part I like though is the commission bit. You can earn your upgrade fee back with just a couple of referrals. If you’ve got any kind of a list you can mail to, or indeed just place a couple of free ads in ezines, then this should be no problem.

Heck, do as I’m doing and do a small write up in your blog. By far the best advertising is  recommending it by word of mouth. For only $17 this is a steal. I’ve just made my $17 bucks back in the last couple of hours.

Remember, this is a Lifetime fee, Not a monthly one. So, go ahead and join before it’s too late.
Here’s that link again Your Advertising Forum
